About

The Jade Boutique Hotel Is a truly historic Wallace building turned boutique hotel in the middle of an outdoor mecca and a whole town on the National Historic Registry. It is situated in the heart of town, surrounded by the serene mountains around Wallace and within walking distance to everything in town. The Jade backs up to the Historic Wallace Depot Museum and the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes, running from Mullan to Plummer, ID. The best restaurants and shopping start just across the street!

Good to know

The Jade Boutique Hotel is the ENTIRE second floor of a 1913, three-story brick building. Like nearly all the buildings in Wallace, this building is on the national register of historic places. The second floor is very large. It includes four bedrooms, a full kitchen and a dining area., 1.5 bathrooms, and unmatched views of the mountains from your bedroom windows. There is plenty of street parking, as well as a public parking lot behind the building, next to the Northern Pacific Railroad Museum park. Please note that this is a fun, original, quirky building with LOTS of history (at one time or another since 1889, this site was a hotel, saloon, restaurant, and/or brothel that was very lively during westward expansion, early railroad building, mining booms and busts, mining wars, prohibition, natural disasters, and more!). The Jade is a perfect fit for someone looking for a unique and authentic Wallace experience. It is situated in a place with ample parking and access to all the outdoor activities, bike trail, and walking around this lovely town.

Lauren’s place was perfect for our night stay before the Hiawatha trail run. It was equipped with everything we needed. Her place was very comfortable and we felt at home. The location was in the center of downtown and easily walkable to restaurants and shops. Lauren was easy to communicate with and quickly responded to messages. We will definitely be back.

This was a great location! Accessible to everything we needed in Wallace as we were bikepacking through the area. The space was clean, open, and plenty of room for us to enjoy our stay.

We had a fantastic weekend stay at The Jade Boutique Hotel in Wallace! It was spacious enough for our group of six and perfectly located in the heart of Wallace, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and historic sites. The building is full of charm and history, which comes with some quirks — you can hear sounds from other rooms, creaking floors, and even a bit from the business downstairs. It’s all part of staying in a century-old space, but light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for gathering together, and parking was easy with both street options and a nearby lot. If you’re looking for a memorable place to stay while exploring Wallace and the surrounding outdoor adventures, The Jade is a wonderful choice!
